Be/Fr/Lux |
In Summer 2000, Candice, Kaela and I took my Peugeot 205 on its last international journey on a jaunt to Belgium, Luxembourg and France. It rained a lot. We started in Paris and emptied Candice's flat. The great British Hovercraft was not so well received by the North American ladies. |

California 1999 |
This was my first visit to my brother in California. In 1999 he was a postdoc living in Oakland in an unbelievable apartment with then-girlfriend Sunny Bains. Marvel at my snowboarding injury! After a while around the Bay Area, I headed down to L.A. to see good buddy Sanjay Lall. In L.A. you can see shadows in the sky. |

A number of individuals studied for undergraduate degrees together. 15 years later, they met once again. Some of them looked older. Some of them did not. Those named Michael mainly did not. |

K-Day |
Kaela Wasnich is a mortal. As such, she was born of a human woman and will one day die. Humans celebrate the occasions when their home planet reaches the same point in its orbit around its sun that it was in when they were born. This is the photo chronicle of one such celebration. |

USA with Joss |
I trailed around the US with Joss Langford, inventor of the Decept Snowskate. I think we had a vending machines innovation project to do together and ran a fantastic itinerary - 10 states in 10 days. The photos with Joss are of Pilot Mountain in North Carolina, where we stayed at a lovely, lovely Ramada that had just been thrown out of the Holiday Inn chain, hence the bag on its head. |

USA: NM & MA 2002 |
This gigantic photo album really requires broadband. It chronicles my first major stint in Boston - I stayed there for 3 months in Spring 2002, living in Cambridge. I started by visiting Candice in Albuquerque, however. Albuquerque doesn't have a lot going for it, but the weather's good and the desert is exciting if you like that sort of thing. Then the pics move on to California, with a visit to my bro, a picture of Shinco's HammerWhisk, and some walking with Sanj. Later you can see a few pictures of my apartment in Cambridge. I loved that place. There's a photographic interlude where I come home for Candice's graduation. Then just watch John Edgley buy a bowling lane at the Wal-Lex and take it home! |
